There is a new gadget for Google Desktop called the Google Media Server. This is a Windows application and obviously requires Google Desktop which can search your computer for media files (audio, photos and video). The receiving end of this technology must be a Universal Plug and Play (UPnP) device such as a PS3. So far this gadget has been given mixed reviews, with complaints about it not working with the XBox 360 and software problems. Friday 27 June 2008
